About The Position

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for our corporate office in Jacksonville, FL, while providing essential administrative support to our Accounting department. This role blends front-desk responsibilities with administrative coordination and is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with people, staying organized, and helping maintain a welcoming and efficient workplace environment. You will work under close supervision while supporting daily operations and ensuring a positive experience for visitors and team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of administrative and clerical functions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to interact professionally with visitors, clients, and team members

Nice To Haves

  • Prior receptionist, front desk, or customer-facing experience
  • Additional education or administrative/clerical experience

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary front desk presence, welcoming visitors and directing them appropriately
  • Answer and route incoming calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to one or more managers
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, ensuring calendars are accurate and well-managed
  • Supporting travel and expense report review
  • Maintain office supplies and ensure the reception and common areas are organized and presentable
  • Act as a point of contact for visitors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Provide general support to the department and assist with additional duties as needed
