About The Position

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is hiring a part-time bilingual Spanish Front Desk Receptionist. Receptionists are the welcoming face of the store and provide prompt, courteous service to customers in person and by phone. They maintain organized patient records and help appointments and customer flow run smoothly while following safety protocols. The position includes Sundays off because stores are closed that day.

Requirements

Fluent in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or in a similar role.
0–2 years of related experience or training.
Experience handling multiple phone lines.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality customer service while following safety protocols.
Ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls according to National Vision protocol.
Process and understand managed care plans and obtain documentation information from insurance companies as needed.
Provide customers with basic, accurate information.
Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes.
File patient records daily and pull files for the following day's appointments.
Check order status and notify customers when orders arrive or are delayed.
Keep the reception area tidy and presentable, with necessary materials available.
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, and maintain office-supply inventory.
Participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings.
