About The Position

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is hiring a bilingual Spanish Front Desk Receptionist. Receptionists are the face of the store, welcoming customers, maintaining organized patient records, and helping appointments and customer flow run smoothly. The role provides prompt, courteous service in person and over the phone while supporting store operations and following safety protocols. Stores are closed every Sunday.

Requirements

Fluency in reading and speaking both English and Spanish.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or in a similar role.
0–2 years of related experience or training.
Experience handling multiple phone lines.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality customer service while following safety protocols.
Ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls according to National Vision protocol.
Process managed care plans and obtain documentation from insurance companies as needed.
Provide customers with basic, accurate information.
Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes.
File patient records daily and pull files for the next day’s appointments.
Check order status and notify customers when orders arrive or when delays occur.
Keep the reception area tidy and presentable with necessary materials.
Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, and maintain office-supply inventory.
Participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings.
