About The Position

Ascend Staffing is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist for their North Salt Lake Support Center (Corporate Office). This part-time position offers the chance to be the first welcoming face and voice of the company, with potential to transition to full-time based on business needs and performance. The role involves greeting visitors, managing calls, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth daily office operations. Requirements

  • Previous customer service, clerical, receptionist, or administrative experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Able to multitask and prioritize in a busy office environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Friendly, helpful, and customer-service focused
  • Comfortable answering phones and interacting with visitors

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors in a friendly, professional manner and direct them to the appropriate team member
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls to the correct branch, department, or individual
  • Use communication tools such as Microsoft Teams, voicemail transfers, and call forwarding
  • Assist with employment verification requests and coordinate with the HR team as needed
  • Maintain and update the company organization chart
  • Complete weekly audits, reports, and administrative follow-up tasks
  • Support employee recognition programs by preparing and distributing cards for special occasions
  • Receive, sort, and organize incoming mail, publications, and correspondence
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager
