About The Position

The Ace Hardware Retail Support Center in La Crosse is looking for a Full Time, TEMPORARY, 2nd shift, Front Desk Receptionist to provide general administrative and clerical support. This includes, but is not limited to: Professionally greet visitors and staff, and direct people to the correct destination in the warehouse or on the grounds Receive and distribute inquiries from the general public or internal customers Answer telephone courteously, and receive and relay messages appropriately Communicate via email, when appropriate Ensure knowledge of staff movements, in and out of warehouse Receive and sort warehouse mail and deliveries Maintain the warehouse visitor log book Distribute and collect warehouse facility badges, as necessary Maintain a tidy front reception area

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer and organizational skills, including previous experience with Microsoft Office product, including Outlook
  • Previous experience with multi-line phone systems
  • Must have demonstrated the ability to consistently work without close supervision
  • Candidates must be able to work the following schedule: 2nd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 3:00 p.m. – 11:30p.m.
  • Additional hours may be required, depending on business need.
