Responsibilities

  • Manage daily front desk activities including patient check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic or manual systems
  • Verify patient information, insurance details, and required documentation
  • Handle payments, billing inquiries, and receipts as required
  • Ensure the reception area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
  • Greet patients and visitors with warmth, respect, and professionalism
  • Address patient questions, concerns, and requests promptly and empathetically
  • Support a calm and reassuring environment for patients and families
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with healthcare regulations
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls in a clear, courteous, and timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff, management, and external partners
  • Provide clear instructions and information to patients regarding appointments, procedures, and policies
  • Demonstrate active listening and problem-solving skills when addressing patient needs
