About The Position

The receptionist shall facilitate office procedures in an efficient and effective manner. This person is responsible for screening incoming calls, and persons who come into the office.

Requirements

  • Ability to pass a typing test.
  • High school diploma.
  • Patience.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Pleasant personality over the phone.

Nice To Haves

  • Other clerical skills may be helpful.

Responsibilities

  • Answer the phone.
  • Sort and distribute mail.
  • File case record materials, with some exceptions.
  • Remind staff members of appointments.
  • Schedule specific appointments dictated by administrative personnel.
  • Assist in typing.
  • Perform general office duties.
