Front Desk Receptionist - Casual position (mainly for night and weekend shifts) Do you have a passion for providing the best to your guests and your customers? Touchmark at Wedgewood is Edmonton’s leading full-service senior living community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. We are currently seeking the right person to join our team as a Concierge. As the Concierge, you will wear a variety of hats! The front desk is literally the heartbeat of our community – it’s the place where residents and guests might stop by to find out what is on the calendar of events for the day, to check on a package they’re expecting to receive, to let us know if they have a maintenance issue in their home, or just to lean on the counter and chit-chat about their day.

Requirements

  • Standard First Aid Certification
  • Commitment to and passion for 100% customer satisfaction
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent at handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and basic office equipment
  • Ability to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors
  • Clear Police check to work with the Vulnerable Sector

Responsibilities

  • Be the face of the organization, the first person people encounter when they call or visit.

  • Assist residents and guests with inquiries about daily events, packages, and maintenance issues.
  • Engage in conversation with residents and guests.
