About The Position

Complete Primary Care is seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join its team based in Danvers, Massachusetts. The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors at Complete Primary Care. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, this position is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while managing patient scheduling, communications, and administrative functions to support the efficient daily operations of the practice.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work collaboratively with providers and clinical staff

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service or medical office experience preferred
  • Experience in a primary care or healthcare setting preferred
  • Experience with Athena EMR or other electronic medical record systems preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner
  • Check patients in and out while ensuring exceptional patient experience
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and other required documentation
  • Collect copayments, outstanding balances, and process patient payments
  • Maintain accurate patient records in Athena Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, medical records requests, and other administrative tasks as assigned
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality
  • Perform other duties or special projects as required or assigned
