About The Position

JCM Associates, Inc. is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist for a full-time year-round position in our Upper Marlboro, Maryland main office. JCM Associates Inc. is a leading provider of commercial HVAC and plumbing services throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. We work and partner with premier owners, developers, contractors, vendors, and manufacturers in the industry. Our work is primarily focused on commercial mixed-use, medical, university, and government projects. Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of administrative support experience.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, professional, courteous, and assertive.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, possess excellent time management skills and multitask with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Demonstrate ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent/sound judgment.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years' experience in the construction industry.
  • Knowledge of DocuSign
  • Knowledge of Bluebeam (construction based pdf application)
  • Experience in event planning.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for the company, greet and establish rapport with employees, clients, visitors, and all other guests entering and exiting the building.
  • Perform a wide range of administrative and office support activities and aide in facilitating the efficient operation of the organization.
  • Answer all phone calls and accurately forward them to the correct individual.
  • Send companywide emails for inter-office communication.
  • Maintain inventory of the company's supplies, reordering as needed.
  • Responsible for processing all outgoing mail and shipments.
  • Distribute incoming mail and deliveries to employee mailboxes and offices as requested.
  • Maintain several different data logs and filing of hard copies.
  • Maintain corporate calendars with reminders for critical activities.
  • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
