About The Position

We are seeking a professional and personable Front Desk Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to serve as the first point of contact for our Petersburg manufacturing facility. This role is essential to maintaining smooth daily operations and creating a welcoming environment for visitors, vendors, and employees. The ideal candidate will be organized, tech-savvy, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Reliable and punctual with strong attendance record
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Nice To Haves

  • Previous receptionist or administrative experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment (copiers, scanners, fax machines)

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist all visitors, guests, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Manage visitor sign-in procedures and issue temporary badges in accordance with facility security protocols
  • Order and put away office supplies
  • Place food orders
  • Maintain site organization charts
  • Assist with expense reports
  • Schedule meetings and conference rooms using Outlook calendar
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Assist with data entry and document management as needed
  • Provide general administrative support to the site operating team
  • Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned
