Requirements

  • Proficient with Google Suit Products
  • Highly organized and schedule driven
  • Flexible with daily tasks
  • Ability to deal with stress, work under deadlines and maintain critical thinking skills
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills (to deal with co-workers, clients and patients), initiative, and good judgment
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must possess strong customer service skills (phone and in person)
  • Proficient typing skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Outgoing personality and a desire to improve tour patients' and clients' quality of life
  • Successful candidates will be able to handle multiple tasks
  • Willingness to meet the job's physical demands such as frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing

Nice To Haves

  • An interest in the field of physical therapy
  • A background in Exercise Science is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and checking in/outpatients in a friendly manner
  • Collecting co-pays
  • Verifying insurance coverage
  • Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
  • Processing new therapy referrals
  • Coordinating the start of care with the therapy staff and contracted agency
  • Ensuring timely starts of care for new patients
  • Helping to maintain productivity of the staff through proper distribution of visits according to established staffing ratios with support staff
  • Serving as a liaison with other non-therapy agency staff members and administrators
