About The Position

Penske Automotive Group is looking for a Front Desk Office Clerk to join their team in Santa Ana, CA. This role involves scanning and filing documents, obtaining, entering, and maintaining financial data and accounting records, and performing duties in accordance with company policy and procedures. The goal is to help the dealership network and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.

Requirements

  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and computer skills relevant to an accounting clerk position
  • At least one year of recent applicable experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Scanning and filing documents
  • Obtaining, entering, and maintaining financial data and accounting records
  • Performing duties in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Compile and sort documents substantiating business transactions
  • Prepare vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records quickly and accurately
  • Understand and comply with all regulations that affect the accounting department
  • Perform tasks accurately, fairly, and in accordance with local, state, and federal statutes, as well as company policies
