About The Position

A Front Desk Night Auditor is responsible for performing both guest service and overnight accounting functions within a hotel or casino environment. This role includes handling front desk operations such as processing reservations, checking guests in and out, assigning rooms, posting and adjusting charges, supporting PBX operations, and addressing guest requests, complaints, and service recovery issues professionally. The auditor also performs cashiering duties and may refer guests to other hotels when necessary. In addition, the position requires completing end-of-day financial processes, including posting room and tax charges, reconciling credit card transactions, auditing accounts and paperwork, and preparing and distributing daily financial reports to management and the finance department while ensuring accuracy and correcting discrepancies. The role requires adherence to Laguna Development Corporation’s core values, policies, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and strong teamwork. The Night Auditor must develop extensive knowledge of hotel operations, amenities, and local attractions to assist guests, while also collaborating with management and housekeeping to address guest needs and maximize occupancy through room sales and yield management. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean work environment, assisting housekeeping when needed, training others, and fostering guest loyalty through positive interactions.

Requirements

  • At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Relevant guest service experience (preferably in hospitality or casino settings).
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with office software and hotel systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure during overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Punctual attendance.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening.
