About The Position

Front Desk Night Auditors are responsible for providing professional guest service and supporting the daily operations of the front desk. This role involves greeting guests, managing check-in/check-out, handling reservations, maintaining accurate guest accounts, and performing night audit duties. The position requires a professional appearance, a positive attitude, and the ability to provide courteous and efficient service. Employees are expected to adhere to all company policies and procedures, work scheduled shifts including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts, and demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities. The role also emphasizes delivering exceptional guest experiences, treating everyone with respect, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, working collaboratively, and upholding Hyatt's commitment to diversity, inclusion, and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Process guest registrations, room assignments, and verify rates and length of stay
  • Handle reservations and assist with maximizing occupancy
  • Maintain accurate guest accounts and records
  • Balance cash drawers and ensure accurate shift transactions
  • Perform night audit duties, including reviewing and reconciling daily reports (night shift)
  • Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Communicate with other departments to support smooth hotel operations
  • Follow all safety, security, and cash-handling procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Support a safe and respectful work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
