About The Position

The Front Desk Lead is responsible for answering incoming and internal telephone calls, scheduling patient appointments, taking messages, and assisting the manager with daily operations. This role involves coordinating department schedules, managing staffing, facilitating training for new employees, and maintaining company-wide metrics. The position also requires keeping offices clean, operational, and professional.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of previous experience as a receptionist in an ambulatory or acute care setting.
  • Experience in employee management.
  • Reliable commute to 601 Hamburg Turnpike, 2nd Floor, Wayne, New Jersey 07470.

Responsibilities

  • Assist and support the first line of Reception or Department manager with daily operations.
  • Assist Department manager with supervisory needs as instructed.
  • Maintain knowledge of computer scheduling functions, using proper registration protocols, editing patient data, and utilizing proper visit types.
  • Answer telephones efficiently and timely, screening and transferring calls, documenting and distributing messages.
  • Monitor and order office supplies to ensure adequate stock.
  • Prepare daily statistics reports.
  • Resolve patient concerns in a positive and timely manner.
  • Serve as a liaison among leads, staff, and C-level executives.
  • Perform general clerical duties including faxing, copying, and distribution of memos and daily schedules.
  • Orient and train current and new employees to Reception duties.
  • Maintain knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Alert supervisor of ongoing daily activities.
  • Ensure all staff train and stay up to date with HIPAA training.
  • Maintain HIPAA practices and HIPAA training.
  • Travel may be necessary among ImageCare Silos.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
