Enrich the lives of older adults through community, choice, and continuing care in the Front Desk Lead role. The Front Desk Lead serves as the initial introduction to Wesley communities. This includes residents, employees, vendors and visitors. Promotes exceptional customer focus in all interactions. Requirements

  • Proficient use of multi-line telephone and ability to use radio.
  • Pleasant demeanor and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions and hostile and emotionally upset customers in a mature, sensitive and professional manner.
  • Exemplify leadership skills to motivate and encourage teamwork to accomplish administrative goals and objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Be receptive to learning and training staff on innovative technology solutions.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently organizing, prioritizing and coordinating multiple tasks to completion.
  • Ability to maintain confidentially at all times regarding residents and business matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with residents, visitors and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Supports new hires and ongoing quality of services by providing team oversight and training.
  • May support specialized billing for Care Center operations.
  • May assist with scheduling and other advanced administrative support needs.
  • May serve as the primary Front Desk team member during normal business hours.
  • Cordially and professionally greets and direct residents, visitors, and team members via phone, in person and email.
  • Become familiar with team members role and/or functions in order to properly route calls, emails and in-person inquiries.
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with residents, team members, visitors and vendors.
  • Ensure adequate inventory of office supplies, organization of workroom and business machinery.
  • Ability to view and coordinate meeting room activity, scheduling, publishing and disseminating related information as needed.
  • Perform administrative support such as record management, reporting, mail distribution, invoicing, and database management.
  • Assists in ensuring the safety of residents, team members, and visitors by identifying and reporting potential safety hazards to appropriate managerial staff.
  • Reports on resident emergency responses (RER).
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
