About The Position

Provide reception and administrative support for an AM Law 100 law firm. Essential Job Responsibilities Manage front desk operations by greeting visitors in a welcoming and professional manner. Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience for visitors and staff in a high-touch environment. Work closely with the client's staff to assist with the front office. Answer and forward calls to the appropriate party as well as be able take accurate and complete messages for those who are unavailable. Provide administrative and clerical support for the firm including credit card reconciliation and various assigned projects. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently. Maintains office supplies inventory and orders supplies. Utilize Microsoft Office to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Maintain a neat and organized reception desk and front lobby area. Solving problems by addressing issues and finding effective solutions. Communicate effectively through written and oral communication. Supports document management by organizing and maintaining files and administrative records. Engage in interpersonal communication to foster a positive work environment. Must be able to work M-F, 9am-6pm on a regular and sustained basis Perform other administrative duties as requested.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Enhanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Ability to resolve issues with professionalism and tact
  • Ability to lift or move 40 lbs. or greater
  • Ability to grasp, lift or carry packages on a standard wheeled cart with a load capacity of 75 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand or sit for an extended period of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 1 year law firm or other professional services experience preferred.
