The Front Desk Clerk is responsible for performing check-in and check-out processes in a friendly, professional, and timely manner. This role involves assigning guest accommodations, maintaining room availability, and reporting any issues to supervision. The clerk will handle assigned banks and perform account postings accurately, while maintaining knowledge of hotel occupancy, special events, and other operational factors. Processing guest payments and accounts efficiently and accurately is a key duty, as is articulating the amenities menu, processing guest orders, and making reservations. Maintaining guest folios with all charges and credits in a timely manner is also required. The role involves bringing any problems to the attention of management and requires the ability to wear a face mask during the shift. Related duties are performed as assigned.
