About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Office Coordinator, operates the telephone console, computers, copy machine, acting as a receptionist in handling paperwork, ensuring customer satisfaction, and money associated with facility rentals, memberships, activity and programs.

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years of age or older to apply
  • Knowledge of telephone procedures and etiquette
  • Knowledge of correct English usage, spelling, and vocabulary
  • Knowledge of office methods, techniques, and equipment
  • Knowledge of word and data processing equipment
  • Responsible for the care, condition, and use of materials, tools, and equipment
  • Responsible for confidential information that must be handled with discretion
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public
  • Ability to use office equipment such as telephone, printer, computer and various computer programs including Word and Excel
  • Able to apply general principles and policies effectively to specific conditions
  • Ability to handle confrontational situations and make sound decisions
  • Must pass drug test before hire

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience in customer service
  • One year of experience in cashiering

  • Exposure to databases
