About The Position

The Front Desk Attendant at Rockport Inn & Suites, part of Maine Course Hospitality Group (MCHG), is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, holidays, and varying shifts as needed
  • Must attach a resume for consideration

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests as they arrive upon check-in and check-out
  • Answer incoming phone calls and make reservations
  • Answer questions about the hotel, its amenities, and the surrounding area
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues that may arise during their stay
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are clean and well-maintained
  • Provide recommendations for local restaurants, attractions, and activities
  • Handle all other administrative tasks as needed
