Requirements

  • Keen eye for detail and respect the importance of providing a luxurious experience for guests.
  • Do not shy away from challenges.
  • Excellent guest services skills.
  • Ability to work a variety of different shifts, including days, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome guests upon their arrival with genuine hospitality.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and communicate clearly, ensuring that you understand their needs and respond promptly and accurately.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and outlet hours.
  • Efficiently manage the registration process, involving inputting and retrieving guest information from our computer system.
  • Verify details such as the number of guests and room rates, while also promoting Crescent and brand-specific marketing initiatives.
  • Make thoughtful room assignments based on guest preferences.
  • Code electronic keys and confirm room details nonverbally.
  • Prepare welcome folders containing essential items like room keys, certificates, coupons, and refreshment center keys.
  • Close out guest accounts promptly at check-out.
  • Negotiate compromises and authorize revenue allowances when guests express dissatisfaction.
  • Be on your feet and mobile throughout the front office area, ensuring efficient service delivery.
