About The Position
Residence Inn by Marriott Oahu Kapolei is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Front Desk Agent to join their full-time hotel team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional hospitality and smooth hotel operations, serving as the first and last impression for guests. The hotel is a modern, all-suite property opened in 2019, located in Kapolei, close to dining, shopping, beaches, and attractions. The team embodies the Aloha Spirit, focusing on providing outstanding service and a positive, supportive workplace.
Requirements
- Prior hospitality, hotel front desk, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills (property management systems a plus)
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals
- Reliable, team-oriented, and guest-focused attitude
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide warm, professional customer service
- Perform guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
- Register guests, assign rooms, and explain hotel amenities and services
- Handle cash transactions accurately and follow hotel policies
- Address guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly and courteously
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area
- Assist with the hotel market, including stocking, sales, and inventory as needed
- Ensure accurate billing and guest account reconciliation
