About The Position

The Jefferson, Washington DC is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join the team at our award-winning hotel. The Jefferson celebrates numerous accolades both for service and our food and beverage program, including designations from Forbes Travel + Leisure Magazine. Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience for our guests. As the first point of contact, a Guest Service Agent ensures that all guests needs are met at check in, check out, and through the duration of their stay.

Requirements

  • Pervious Relevant Guest Services experience in a luxury hotel or similar industry
  • Polished, welcoming individual with exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and excel with competing tasks that are given with limited notice
  • This position requires scheduling flexibility to include working nights, weekend, and/or holidays

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and register guests in an efficient and friendly manner
  • Handles all guest requests and interactions in a hospitable and professional manner
  • Assist with duties in the areas of Concierge, Front Services, Call Center, and Food & Beverage
  • Handles all incoming calls and is responsible for guest room reservations, room service orders, and booking restaurant reservations
