About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is the face of The Ashbrook Hotel, responsible for creating a warm, seamless, and personalized guest experience from arrival to departure. This role blends hospitality, organization, and attention to detail to ensure every guest interaction reflects the hotel’s boutique standards.

Requirements

  • Previous hospitality, customer service, or front desk experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable using hotel systems (PMS), POS systems, and basic office software
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a welcoming and professional demeanor
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately
  • Provide personalized recommendations for local dining, attractions, and services
  • Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Manage reservations, room assignments, and special requests
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries in a timely manner
  • Process payments, verify billing, and maintain accurate guest records
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable front desk area
  • Assist with daily reports, logs, and shift handoffs
  • Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and service standards
