This specific role is for a Front Desk Agent at the Hilton Garden Inn Arboretum in Austin, Texas.
Requirements
- Experience with a Hilton Brand hotel highly desired
- Be able to manage time effectively and complete required tasks on time
- Knowledge of and ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system.
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Stable work history required
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Need to be a team player
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying, and resolving the concerns and issues raised by guests
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and manage check-ins and check-outs
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Assist guests with questions, directions, and local recommendations
- Address and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Maintain accurate guest records and room key inventory
- Support front desk operations as needed
