About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at a vibrant hotel/resort. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations and night audit processes is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable.
  • Proficient in using phone systems and other office equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding customer service in a hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.
  • Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Operate phone systems to respond to calls promptly and professionally while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
  • Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting at the end of each day.
  • Maintain the front desk area in an organized and tidy manner.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Provide multilingual support to guests when necessary, enhancing their experience during their stay.
