About The Position

As a Front Desk Agent at Springhill Suites - Richmond Hill, you’ll be the first friendly face our guests see. In this role, you’ll help create a welcoming experience by assisting guests with check-in/check-out, answering questions, managing reservations, and resolving concerns with professionalism and care. The candidate selected for this full-time position must have open availability and be able to work mornings, evenings, and occasional overnight shifts.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer proficiency and telephone etiquette.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Reliable, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and assist with check-in and check-out
Process payments and manage guest accounts
Book, modify, and cancel reservations
Answer guest questions and provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions
Respond to guest requests and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information
Answer phones and respond to emails as needed
Work closely with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest satisfaction
Follow hotel safety, security, and privacy procedures
