The agent will maintain records of room availability and rates, process guest payments, and handle reservations via various communication channels. Additionally, they may post charges to guest bills if the system is down, make reservations for guests (transportation, entertainment), and manage guest valuables in the hotel safe. Proficiency in various office software is required.
