About The Position

La Siesta Resort & Marina is a waterfront resort in the Florida Keys. The Front Desk Agent is the welcoming face of the property and helps guests feel valued and cared for throughout their stay. The role provides exceptional customer service, handles guest arrivals and departures, answers questions, and works with other departments to support a seamless guest experience. The agent also maintains the front desk area and accurately processes cash and credit card transactions.

Requirements

Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous cash-handling experience.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Proficiency in computer systems and knowledge of hotel property management software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive first impression for guests.
Handle guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve issues or complaints professionally and empathetically.
Provide recommendations and information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities.
