Join the Shade Hotel Redondo Beach team as a Dual Front Desk Agent & Night Auditor. This role requires open availability, including weekends and holidays. Requirements

Prior hotel front desk experience is required
Ability and willingness to work any shifts as business volume dictates weekly schedule. AM, PM and MID shifts available.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently during overnight shifts

Nice To Haves

Night audit experience is preferred
Boutique property experience is a plus
Speaking another language is helpful but not necessary

Responsibilities

Manage online, phone, and in-person room reservations
Welcome guests, check them in, distribute room keys, and explain the hotel’s amenities
Take payment from customers
Respond to guests’ issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner
Explain local amenities and attractions to guests
Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special guest needs
Arrange specialized services for VIP customers
Complete nightly audit procedures and balance daily hotel transactions
Prepare and distribute end-of-day reports
Reconcile guest accounts, room charges, and payment transactions
Ensure the safety and security of guests and the property during overnight shifts
Assist with overnight guest requests and provide exceptional service throughout the night
