About The Position
Located in the heart of Dewey Beach and just steps from the Atlantic Ocean, our hotels bring together laid-back coastal energy, local personality, sunny service, and memorable guest experiences. Block Party Hotels is looking for a friendly, dependable, and flexible Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor who is excited to learn both sides of our front desk operation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, can think on their feet, and wants the flexibility and experience of working both traditional front desk and overnight shifts.

- Flexible with scheduling and willing to work a combination of shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel, front desk, or customer service experience is a plus, but hospitality experience is not required for the right person
Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and providing friendly, efficient check-in and check-out experiences
- Handling reservations, modifications, cancellations, payments, and guest requests
- Answering questions about the hotel, Dewey Beach, local attractions, restaurants, and the surrounding area
- Resolving guest concerns with professionalism, good judgment, and a positive attitude
- Communicating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to keep hotel operations running smoothly
- Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Learning and performing nightly audit procedures, including balancing and reconciling guest accounts, room revenue, and transactions
- Supporting late-night arrivals and early departures
- Monitoring the property and following hotel safety and security procedures
- Handling overnight guest needs or unexpected situations calmly and independently
