About The Position

Block Party Hotels is looking for a friendly, dependable, and flexible Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor who is excited to learn both sides of our front desk operation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, can think on their feet, and wants the flexibility and experience of working both traditional front desk and overnight shifts. Located in the heart of Dewey Beach and just steps from the Atlantic Ocean, our hotels bring together laid-back coastal energy, local personality, sunny service, and memorable guest experiences.

Nice To Haves

• Hospitality experience

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and providing friendly, efficient check-in and check-out experiences
• Handling reservations, modifications, cancellations, payments, and guest requests
• Answering questions about the hotel, Dewey Beach, local attractions, restaurants, and the surrounding area
• Resolving guest concerns with professionalism, good judgment, and a positive attitude
• Communicating with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to keep hotel operations running smoothly
• Handling cash and credit card transactions accurately
• Learning and performing nightly audit procedures, including balancing and reconciling guest accounts, room revenue, and transactions
• Supporting late-night arrivals and early departures
• Monitoring the property and following hotel safety and security procedures
• Handling overnight guest needs or unexpected situations calmly and independently
