Front Desk Administrator - Charlotte, NC

Pathways to LifeCharlotte, NC
Onsite

About The Position

Pathways to Life, Inc. is seeking a Front Desk Administrator to support a behavioral health team serving children, adults, and families across the Charlotte community. This is not a "sit quietly behind the desk" position. You are the first person members, families, and community partners see when they walk through the door. You set the tone for the office, keep communication moving, and help clinical teams stay organized throughout the day. On a typical day, you may greet a parent arriving for services, help a clinician coordinate schedules, answer time-sensitive calls, and organize documentation that keeps services running without delays. If you work well in a fast-moving environment and like being the person people rely on, this role will fit you well.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of front desk, receptionist, or administrative experience
  • Comfortable using email, Google Workspace, scheduling systems, and basic office technology

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or medical offices preferred

Responsibilities

  • Welcome members, families, and visitors in a professional and respectful manner
  • Answer incoming calls and route messages to the correct staff quickly
  • Schedule appointments and help manage daily office flow

  • Support compliance requirements by protecting confidential and HIPAA-sensitive information
  • Assist leadership and clinical staff with administrative tasks and office coordination
  • Monitor office supplies and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
  • Support communication between providers, staff, and community partners

Benefits

  • Stable behavioral health organization serving North Carolina communities since 2006

  • Opportunity for advancement into administrative and operational leadership roles
  • Meaningful work that directly supports children, adults, and families receiving care
