About The Position

Fright Fest is resurrecting for its 33rd year at Six Flags Magic Mountain and is looking for talented individuals to join their team. This is a short-term position for a specific special event and period. We are seeking individuals with a "cold stare" or "wicked talent" to become part of our talented ensemble. Perks include an "endless supply of fresh brains" and other "to die for" benefits. Must be 18 or older.

Requirements

Must be 18 or Older
Must be able to carry and wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight.
Must be able to work in crowds, heat, cold, tight and dark surroundings.
Must be able to work in crowds, heat, cold, tight and dark surroundings for long periods of time.
Must be physically fit.
Must be comfortable with heights up to 48”.
Must be able to work in crowds, heat, and cold.
Must be able to wear fall protection harnesses for long periods of time.
Ability to work and attend rehearsals that include a variety of shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
Must be able to perform in an enclosed costume, having limited sight lines if applicable.
Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team.

Nice To Haves

Dance or gymnastic background preferred.
Willing to train persons with athletic background.
Absolutely must have a positive, can-do attitude and love creating FUN experiences!

Responsibilities

Performing in haunted attractions or in haunted scare zones as a fictional, dark character startling and entertaining park guests with great enthusiasm and animation.
Performing in haunted attractions or in haunted scare zones as fictional characters startling and entertaining park guests with great enthusiasm and high animation.
Performing as a stilt performer meeting, greeting, and entertaining park guests with enthusiasm and animation.
Performing specific choreographed movements during parades.
Performing in haunted attractions or in haunted scare zones as fictional characters using stunt rigging startling and entertaining park guests with great enthusiasm and high animations.
