About The Position

Fright Fest is resurrecting for its 33rd year at Six Flags Magic Mountain and is looking for talented individuals to join their team. This is a short-term position for a specific special event and period. We are seeking individuals with a cold stare or wicked talent to be part of our talented ensemble. Perks include an endless supply of fresh brains and other amazing benefits.

Requirements

Must be 18 or Older
Must be able to carry and wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight.
Must be able to work in crowds, heat, cold, tight and dark surroundings.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
Must be able to perform in an enclosed costume, having limited sight lines if applicable.
Must have a positive, can-do attitude and love creating FUN experiences!
Must be physically fit.
Must be comfortable with heights up to 48” (Stilt Performer).
Must be able to work and attend rehearsals that include a variety of shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Dance or gymnastic background preferred (Stilt Performer).
Willing to train persons with athletic background (Stilt Performer).

Responsibilities

Performing in haunted attractions or in haunted scare zones as a fictional, dark character.
Startling and entertaining park guests with great enthusiasm and animation.
Meeting, greeting, and entertaining park guests with enthusiasm and animation (Stilt Performer).
Performing specific choreographed movements during parades (Stilt Performer).
Using stunt rigging to startle and entertain guests (Aerial Ghoul).
