About The Position

Join our team for Fright Fest's 33rd year at Six Flags Magic Mountain! We are looking for talented individuals to fill various scare roles. This is a short-term position for a specific special event and period. You must be 18 or older to apply. We offer an endless supply of fresh brains and other amazing perks.

Requirements

Must be 18 or older.
Must be able to carry and wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight.
Must be able to work in crowds, heat, cold, tight and dark surroundings.
Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
Must be able to perform in an enclosed costume, having limited sight lines if applicable.
Must be physically fit.
Must have a positive, can-do attitude and love creating FUN experiences!
Must be comfortable with heights up to 48” (for Stilt Performer).
Must be able to work and attend rehearsals that include a variety of shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Dance or gymnastic background preferred (for Stilt Performer).
Willing to train persons with athletic background (for Stilt Performer).

Responsibilities

Performing in haunted attractions or in haunted scare zones as a fictional, dark character startling and entertaining park guests with great enthusiasm and animation.
Performing as a stilt performer meeting, greeting, and entertaining park guests with enthusiasm and animation.
Performing specific choreographed movements during parades.
Using stunt rigging to startle and entertain park guests with great enthusiasm and high animations.
