About The Position

The Fresh Food Manager leads staff and manages processes to support the smooth and efficient operation of Love’s fresh kitchen. The role focuses on enhancing sales and customer satisfaction while maintaining food safety, kitchen cleanliness, effective inventory practices, timely food preparation, and accurate operational reporting. The manager also works with leadership on talent acquisition and uses financial reporting to identify business changes and opportunities.

Requirements

At least 1 year of food management experience.
At least 1 year of experience affecting and deciphering budgets and profit and loss statements.
At least 1 year of experience supervising and training 5 or more employees.
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check; additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT physical.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
Ability to navigate various computer programs, systems, and technology tools as part of daily operations.
Ability to talk, hear, move around, lift up to 50 pounds, and see clearly to perform job duties.

Responsibilities

Ensure the kitchen is safe, clean, and well maintained, and that proper food safety procedures are followed.
Drive sales through efficient ordering, stocking, inventory management, and food preparation.
Oversee task execution and completion, maintain schedule integrity, and complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Work alongside team members to prepare and package products promptly to meet customer service expectations.
Use financial reporting, including profit and loss statements, to inform business changes and capitalize on opportunities.
Collaborate with leadership on talent acquisition.
