About The Position

The Fresh Cut Night Lead oversees the fresh-cut produce night shift team and helps ensure guests receive high-quality service and fresh products. The role oversees production and replenishment of fresh-cut items, maintains product quality and stock levels, and supports excellent guest service. The lead oversees daily Fresh Cut department operations and provides direction when the manager is absent, while helping train and guide associates. The position is based at the Festival Foods location at 647 South Green Bay Road, Neenah, Wisconsin 54956.

Requirements

• Leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Experience in retail food, stocking, produce associate work, or similar roles.
• Strong communication skills for working with a diverse team.
• Understanding of food safety and ability to apply safety training on the job.
• Ability to make quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with professional, attentive service, including greeting them, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Oversee daily Fresh Cut department operations and provide direction in the manager’s absence.
• Help train new associates and guide current team members.
• Keep fresh-cut products replenished and ensure they are priced accurately.
• Assist guests with product inquiries, special requests, and concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet guest needs and department goals.
• Attend regularly and on time according to the work schedule, and provide adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
