Requirements

• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency level in French
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to follow instructions
• Skill in using Microsoft Office and/or Google products (Google Slides, Docs, Drives) and/or Canva

Responsibilities

• Correct (not grade) some course assignments or homework, online activities etc
• Perform routine typing (e.g., course materials, materials to be submitted for publication, and/or departmental documents); photocopying; record keeping; and miscellaneous clerical tasks
• Input information into databases (e.g., Excel or other); gather information relevant to instructional or research projects from the Internet or library collections/databases; draft or assist in editing PowerPoints or other digital materials
• Obtain and return library material(s) authorized by professor; order interlibrary loan requests; compile mini-bibliographies
• Assist with special projects (bulletin board displays, publicity for events, co-curricular activities for students, and/or other projects as assigned)
• Assist in classes; tutor specific student(s), set up film screenings for classes
