About The Position
Language Trainers is seeking a French Teacher for a client in Thunder Bay, Canada. This is a freelance, part-time, one-to-one general French course for a beginner student aged 18-24. The lessons will be two hours long, twice a week, preferably in the afternoons, and will take place at the student's residence on the Lakehead University campus. The total number of hours is 105. The student's motivation for learning French is for immigration exam purposes. The schedule and location may be flexible based on availability, and the hourly rate is negotiable.
Requirements
- Native French speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
- Valid work permit/visa.
- Live within 30 km of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
- Ability to provide CV with references.
- Provide availability.
- Provide earliest possible start date.
Nice To Haves
- Experience teaching French for immigration exam purposes.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one general French lessons to a beginner student.
