About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company working with freelance teachers of 99+ languages in hundreds of cities worldwide. Founded in 2004, our motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere. We provide customized language training to professionals and private students for work, family, and travel purposes. We are currently looking for a French Teacher for one of our clients in Oshawa, Canada. The course type is General, with a two-to-one format, totaling 50 hours. Each session is two hours long. The student level is Elementary, and the student age group is 18-24. The schedule is once per week, preferably on Tuesdays or Thursdays, though Saturdays can work. Weekday sessions should be after 6 pm. The motivation for learning is for career and travel.

Requirements

• Be a native French speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Have a valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 30 km of the specified location (L1M 2E2, Oshawa).
• Submit CV with references (if available).
• Provide availability.
• Provide earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide customized French language training to a client in Oshawa, Canada.
• Conduct two-to-one sessions for a total of 50 hours.
• Adapt teaching to an elementary student level and an age group of 18-24.
• Meet the student's motivation for learning, which is for career and travel.
