About The Position

Language Trainers is an international language training company seeking a freelance Korean Teacher for a client in Edmonton, Canada. The role involves providing one-to-one general Korean language training to a beginner-level student. The goal is for the student to become conversationally fluent within 12 months. The course consists of 30 total hours, with sessions lasting two hours each. The schedule is flexible, preferably on weekday evenings after 5:30 pm or on weekends between 11 am and 5 pm, with weekends being preferred. The position is freelance and part-time, with an hourly rate negotiable based on experience and qualifications. The start date is as soon as possible.

Requirements

• Native Korean speaker and/or relevant teaching qualification.
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Valid work permit/visa.
• Live within 30 km of T6J 6N4, Edmonton.
• Ability to commit to the student's goal of conversational fluency within 12 months.
• Submit CV with references (if available).
• Provide availability.
• Provide earliest possible start date.

Responsibilities
