About The Position

Charger Logistics is hiring a Freight Sales Representative to join our growing brokerage team. This is a fully remote opportunity, with team operations based in Chattanooga, Tennessee—one of the fastest-growing logistics hubs in the U.S. This role is ideal for individuals early in their careers who are looking to build a strong foundation in sales and logistics. You’ll develop hands-on experience in rate negotiation, relationship building, and real-time freight operations, playing a key role in keeping freight moving efficiently across North America.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, logistics, recruiting, or customer-facing roles
  • Strong interest in sales, transportation, or supply chain
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and working in a target-driven environment
  • Competitive mindset with a strong drive to learn and grow
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (TMS experience is a plus, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Source and connect with carrier partners through outbound calls, load boards, and networking
  • Negotiate competitive freight rates while supporting margin targets
  • Match available carrier capacity with customer shipment needs quickly and accurately
  • Manage shipments end-to-end, including tracking, check calls, and issue resolution
  • Provide timely updates to internal teams and customers on shipment status
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with carriers to expand network capacity
  • Ensure carrier compliance, including authority, insurance, and onboarding documentation
  • Operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with daily goals
