About The Position

Innovative Environments is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Freight / Logistics Coordinator to manage and coordinate primarily domestic freight operations, with occasional international shipments. The role supports project delivery by coordinating shipments and shipping and receiving activities, communicating with freight carriers and vendors, and ensuring materials arrive at the required destination on time. The position works with project managers, installers, and service technicians in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in freight coordination, warehouse logistics, or as a shipping coordinator.
Forklift certification and hands-on forklift experience.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
Team-oriented, solutions-focused, and dependable.

Nice To Haves

Experience in logistics, supply chain, or business.
Prior trade show or event logistics experience.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule domestic freight, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.
Manage limited international shipments and required customs documentation.
Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, verifying secure loads and correct paperwork.
Track shipments in real time and resolve delays or damages quickly.
Load and unload deliveries and supplies from trucks.
Manage small parcel shipping and receiving and maintain accountability for deliveries.
Build relationships with carriers, negotiate freight rates, and approve invoices.
Collaborate with project managers, installers, and service technicians to support smooth operations.
