This position is responsible for maintaining freight inventory by inspecting and verifying correct freight label information, processing store orders by pulling merchandise, and maintaining freight inventory by inspecting for damage and misplacement. Responsibilities

• Maintain freight inventory through inspecting and verifying correct freight label information (vendor stock number, description on labels) comparing label to freight contents or reports (label control) and placing labels in appropriate area on freight.
• Process store orders through pulling merchandise using computer generated labels, stacking onto pallets, and transporting manually (pallet jack) or using power equipment.
• Maintain freight inventory by inspecting freight for damage and misplacement (strays).
• Maintain records, logs, and forms.
