About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring freight quality by inspecting for damage or misplacement and clearing conveyor jams. It also involves fulfilling store orders by pulling merchandise using various systems, verifying pack and quantity, labeling freight, and placing it into designated containers. Communication with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing is also a key part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure freight quality through inspecting freight for damage or misplacement (e.g., "strays"), and clearing jams in the conveyor system.
• Fulfill store orders through pulling merchandise using the pick-to-light, put-to-light, RF gun, or voice pick system; verifying display for pack and quantity; placing labels in appropriate area on freight; and placing freight into designated containers.
• Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).
