About The Position

The Freight Flow Associate position is responsible for managing inventory flow, receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise and supplies. This role ensures the sales floor and merchandising presentation are maintained according to company policies, and that club pickup orders are filled accurately and efficiently. The associate also plays a role in customer service, assisting members with technology and purchases, and maintaining a safe and clean facility. The position emphasizes teamwork, integrity, and a commitment to serving customers and members.

Requirements

• 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Operates forklift safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners.
• Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies, managing inventory flow and utilizing equipment appropriately.
• Provides member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with technology, purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
• Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
• Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensures club pickup orders are filled accurately and efficiently.
• Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways.
• Tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
• Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
• Proactively identifies customers who need help and assists them with technology services and items.
• Identifies shrink opportunities and problems with products, services, and work areas and takes steps to fix them.
• Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked in correct ways.
• Works as a team, builds strong and trusting relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity.
• Helps, develops, and mentors others, recognizing others' contributions and accomplishments.
