About The Position

The Freight Flow Associate is responsible for managing inventory flow, operating a forklift, and ensuring the sales floor and club pickup orders are maintained according to company policies and procedures. This role involves receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise, providing excellent member service, maintaining a safe and clean facility, and utilizing technology to assist customers and identify shrink opportunities. The associate will work as part of a team, upholding high standards of integrity and contributing to a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
Operates forklift safely to pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with others, identifying priorities, and adapting to change.
Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies, managing inventory flow and utilizing equipment appropriately.
Provides member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
Maintains the safety of the facility by conducting safety sweeps, following specific procedures for hazardous materials and equipment, and reporting unsafe situations.
Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation by properly zoning, stocking, rotating, and displaying merchandise, and processing defective goods.
Ensures club pickup orders are filled accurately and staged properly within acceptable timeframes.
Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways, tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
Reports poor inventory practices and low instock levels.
Uses inventory tools and equipment safely and correctly.
Operates and maintains forklifts safely and correctly.
Reports poor or unsafe conditions or practices.
Proactively identifies customers who need help and assists them with technology services and items.
Models and helps others with technology services.
Identifies shrink opportunities and problems and takes steps to fix them.
Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked correctly.
Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates with impact.
