About The Position

The Freight Flow Associate is responsible for managing inventory flow, operating a forklift, and ensuring the sales floor and club pickup orders are maintained according to company policies and procedures. This role involves receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise, providing excellent member service, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The associate will also utilize technology to assist customers and identify shrink opportunities, while working collaboratively with team members to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 90 days of prior experience with Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Operates forklift safely to pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers and coworkers.
  • Receives, stocks, and organizes merchandise and supplies, managing inventory flow and utilizing equipment appropriately.
  • Provides member service by acknowledging needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
  • Maintains the safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensures club pickup orders are filled accurately and staged properly.
  • Handles, moves, and displays goods in safe and correct ways, tracks goods, maintains instock levels, and controls shrinkage.
  • Operates and maintains forklifts in safe and correct ways.
  • Proactively identifies customers who need help and assists them with technology services and items.
  • Identifies shrink opportunities and problems and takes steps to fix them.
  • Properly maintains equipment and ensures products are organized and stocked in correct ways.
  • Works as a team, builds strong relationships, and communicates with impact, energy, and positivity.
  • Helps, develops, and mentors others, recognizes others' contributions and accomplishments.
  • Maintains and promotes the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance.
